well, day 4 was probably one of my favorite days of the week. we went on a small day hike up waimea canyon, the "grand canyon of the pacific". it was pretty cool. we hiked in about a mile and a half to Waipo'o Falls. there was a couple of falls, one going off a pretty high cliff and we were right on top. after our hike, we went and got shave ice at jojo's. it was delicious. ice cream on the bottom, your choice of flavored ice, cream on top. . . mmm. after our shave ice, we went to the furthest west point on the island that you can drive to, polihale beach. we had a barbeque on the beach, played frisbee, and conor, kevin, and erin made a bonfire with palm leaves. also, kevin found some coconuts and was trying to break them open without spilling all the milk, it was pretty funny. all in all, it was a really good day.
